Many West Seattle businesses based elsewhere on the peninsula come to The Junction to participate in Summer Fest. Among them, Music Studios Mode (WSB sponsor), whose founder Erin Rubin sent this update:
Mode Music is ready to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the West Seattle Summer Fest by adding fantastic musical talent to the stellar lineup this weekend, July 15-17!
On Friday, Fashion teachers will kick off the Fest by going wild as only they know how! At 5:00 p.m., former fashion teacher and singer-songwriter Caitlyn Sherman (IG: @caitiecuel) will take the stage. And at 9:00 p.m., Naked Giants (IG: @naked_giants) will headline, a group that includes current fashion professors Grant Mullen and Gianni Aiello!
Beginning at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, Mode Music Studios (IG: @modemusicws) will kick off the performance block of students and alumni, including rock band It’s All Happening (IG @itsallhappening.band), singer Mari Littlefield and wife -the band KAMPS, whose band name was inspired by the fantastic Mode alumni band THEM (IG: @theband.them) was scheduled to perform at 2:00 p.m.
