Job summary:
The Marketer will be an employee of MER (Moran Environmental Recovery) who manages all marketing outreach strategies for World Diving. Additionally, the specialist will manage internal and external brand marketing projects. The Specialist will proactively build collaborative partnerships with corporate management and support departments to successfully execute marketing strategies to achieve their business objectives. The ideal candidate will be highly creative, well-organized, attentive to detail, and possess exceptional writing, communication, and organizational skills. The ability to successfully gather information, get responses from a variety of sources, and understand the process of creating various forms of content will be required. The Specialist will be relied upon to deliver engaging, compelling, well organized, timely and measurable marketing solutions to internal constituents.

Job description:
Develop and manage digital marketing strategy – social media, video, employee engagement.
Create and publish content for company social media accounts including Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn.
The strategy should include detailed implementation timelines with targeted results and data points. Results must be communicated to stakeholders in a timely manner
Partner with business leaders and business development to create marketing materials, newsletters, and email outings.
Develop, design and deploy various marketing and employee engagement campaigns to increase brand awareness.
Work with company and department management, manage budget, including company association memberships and advertising expenses.
Assist the sales team with client introductions, trade show and event management and logistics.
Manage lists and segment database for specific campaigns.
Uphold company brand standards on all materials.
Write articles and/or press releases for a variety of communication mediums – distribute once approved.
Manage the collection of photos and archives.
Order, distribute and maintain inventory of company items and apparel.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Education and experience:

A bachelor’s degree is preferred with a major in marketing, communications, or a related field. 3 to 5 years of experience in marketing, communications, writing and social media.

Desired skills and competencies:

Proven team player, with an ability to multi-task, with excellent oral communication skills, written communication skills, customer relations and professionalism. Must be able to work independently and have time management skills.

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer operations:
Adobe Creative Suite, InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator experience preferred
Graphic arts skills desired
Preferred Mac Abilities
