Preston has been voted one of the UK’s top craft drink destinations.


A new study of Bionic set out to discover Britain’s best craft drink destinations and the towns where pub goers can find the most pubs in each location.

The study combined data on customer reviews, the number of unique beers, and the number of top-rated pubs and microbreweries in each city to create an index ranking.

He also looked at the most popular pints to share on social media and each generation’s favorite indie beers.

Preston ranked 20th for the best winter bars in the UK – with over 700 independent pubs to choose from.

In total, there are 713 pubs where punters can wander around and find a new favorite place to hang out with friends and family over a pint this winter.

Plug and Taps is the perfect destination in Preston for those who are passionate about craft beer and real ale, or, there’s the Plau Gin and Beer House, a cozy place to try some of the best beers.

Preston received a 7 star rating for the location of the pub which means there is always a pub nearby no matter where you are.
