Preston Military Show returns to Fulwood Barracks

Brave the weather for the military show

A popular military event will return to Preston in September for the first time since 2019.


On Saturday September 3, from 11am, the Preston Military Show will return to Fulwood Barracks, with organizers promising guests a Spitfire fly-by to celebrate the British Armed Forces.

Attendees will enjoy the IMPS motorcycle demo team, play areas, an inflatable assault course, flight simulators, the Great War trench and large combat vehicles.

Army parachute team, climbing walls, displays of military units, WWII aircraft, military and cadet bands, and more. are also offered.

In previous years, the Preston Military Show has featured World War II gunnery demonstrations, trench warfare experiences, marching bands and displays of military equipment.

In 2019, an iconic Lancaster Bomber performed a flyover, Tigers skydiving performed maneuvers, and guests enjoyed the Inch Perfect Trails Bike Demonstration Team and a Tug O’ War competition.
