The bus operator added more buses to the schedules at peak times of the day on the 19th and 23rd.

From Monday 31 October, services 8, 9, 23 and 88 will be affected.

Bus service to Corpus Christi Sports College via 960 Miller Road will not operate after the midterm break.

A spokesperson for Preston Buses said: ‘Students traveling to Corpus Christi should use the other available school buses (959, 961, 962, 963) as well as the 19 service which operates at high frequency along Sharoe Green Lane, a short walk from the school.

“Pupils who have a Lancashire County Council scholars pass for the 960 service should receive a reissued County Council pass by post.

“In the event that this does not arrive by October 31, the pass will be accepted on any other Preston bus service to and from school.”
