The PreSonus Studio One 6 offers a host of smart features designed to help songwriters, engineers, and more.

Smart models

You’ll find smart new templates in the all-new Studio One DAW, and they’re designed to make it easy to get started on a specific task right away.

Smart templates consist of pre-configured tracks and channels with a personalized interface and automatic download of necessary content.

Examples of smart templates include basic recording, creating beats, mixing stems, album mastering, setting up a live show, and more.

You can import audio through a drop zone, in addition to video and MIDI file zones.

Plus, the software features interactive tutorials so you can get started right away.

The customization editor

The Customization Editor lets you show or hide almost every tool and feature in Studio One 6.

As a result, you can streamline the DAWs interface to suit the way you work best.

A beginner can choose to show only the essential tools, while a more experienced user can keep the powerful features of DAWs in front of them.

You can save custom interfaces and again there are predefined options to keep you stuck (again).

Lyrical support

And songwriters may find the new lyrics support very useful. This tool allows you to add lyrics to a project via a dedicated editor!

In practice, you can attach notes word by word or syllable by syllable in the Score and Piano views.

In this latest iteration, the team has remained focused on listening to the needs of loyal users, creating innovative solutions to increase productivity in the professional audio production space. We want engineers, producers, musicians and creators everywhere to feel supported and inspired to create their best work yet.
