Police appeal for witnesses after man dies in Chorley Park
Police have appealed for witnesses after a man died in an incident at a lake in Yarrow Valley National Park.

Police attended the scene at Chorley Park at around 2.10pm yesterday (Monday August 1) after receiving a report that a man had entered the water and got into difficulty.
Emergency services responded and recovered the body of a 26-year-old man after a search of the lake.

Chorley Police said they informed his loved ones and their thoughts are with his family.
They said there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death and they were preparing a case for the coroner.
The police are appealing for witnesses or anyone in the area who may have information.
