Weird Romance is a musical with two distinct stories; Act 1 is called The Girl Who Was Hip, and act 2 is his pilgrim soul.
The show contains themes such as the generation gap, love triangles, and the conflict between the haves and have-nots.
Two casts will present alternative shows.

The social media and marketing manager for the show, Michael Kerr, said: “Our cast comes from all over the UK. Each of us also has a production role. For example, I play a character called Kevin but I also do social media and I’m a musical assistant.
“For many of us, this is our first show since pre-Covid, so it would be great to get as many people there as possible.”
