Man stabbed in Avenham Park robbery

Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was ‘cut’ during a robbery in Avenham Park.


The victim – a man in his 50s – was walking near the playground around 7am on Monday 14 November.

He was approached by a group of three or four men who stole his cell phone and slashed it with a blade.

He was treated in hospital for his injuries, which are not considered life threatening.
