Mac Mini will not come this year.
A new report has surfaced which claims that the new Mac Mini PC that was supposed to be launched this year will not hit the market just yet. The reason for this delay is not yet known since the announcement of the high-end Mac mini was never made to begin with.
Today we’re talking about the M2 Mac mini and M2 Pro Mac Mini devices and everything you need to know about them:
Are high-end Mac Minis really coming?
Apple made the announcement and introduced Mac Studio this month, which is supposedly based on the Mac Mini but has more powerful hardware. Some speculations said that this might be the end of Mac mini and no other version will come however, this is not the end of Mac Mini.
Reliable rumors have claimed that a new redesigned version of the Mac mini is in development and will hit the market soon. The two supposed new versions of the Mac mini are the M2 and M2 Pro chipset versions. Of these, the M2’s codename has been confirmed to be J473.
Later, Ming Chi KuoA reputable Apple analyst has confirmed that Apple really plans to release a new high-end Mac mini along with tech with a 27-inch external display without a mini LED display later this year.
Currently, Mac minis are only available with an M1 chipset and some variants from Intel, but it is expected that an M2 and M2 pro variant will also be available soon. Last week, analyst Kuo predicted the lineup of upcoming Macs for the years 2022 and 2023. However, he recently shared that the upcoming Mac Mini models have been delayed to next year.

What to expect?
According to a report, the M2 chipset may be featured in the new 24-inch iMac, 13-inch MacBook Pro, and Mac Mini, and all three models are in development. The M2 chipset will succeed the M1 chipset and will offer the same 8-core processor, but the overall performance and power efficiency will be improved by leaps and bounds.
The Mac Mini with the M2 chipset will supposedly receive a new design and will not be the same as the Mac Mini with the M1 chipset. The device will be built on a smaller chassis, a top with plexiglass and two color options for tones.
The M2 chipset is based on the A15 chip while the M1 is based on the A14 Bionic. The M2 Mac Mini is said to be in the final stages of completion and is expected to be released by the end of this year. But the latest rumors now claim that the launch will be delayed to 2023.
