Marvel Stadium will host one of the most anticipated fights of 2022 when Australian unified lightweight champion George Kambosos Jr (20-0, 10 KOs) takes on WBC champion Devin Haney (27-0, 15 KOs) to cap off the undisputed lightweight champion.
In November 2021, Kambosos shocked the world by dethroning Teofimo Lopez (16-1, 12 KOs) to become the unified champion of the 135-pound division.
In the final chapter to go undisputed, he aims to take the final piece of the puzzle when he takes on fellow undefeated champion Devin Haney.
For his fifth defense of his WBC title, Haney is aiming to spoil the Aussie’s party as he looks to defeat Kambosos in his own backyard.
The winner of this fight will be the first undisputed lightweight champion of the four-belt era and the first undisputed lightweight champion since the late great Pernell Whitaker (40-4-1-1 NC, 17 KOs).
The card also features Australian personalities such as Jason Moloney and Lucas Browne, as well as many highly touted prospects.
