Few showers today; still overcast on Tuesday

Post :

Update:

The overall weather pattern will remain fairly active through at least mid-week with a return to scattered rain showers. A system is coming today with a few showers this morning in the north of the country and southern Vermont. These showers will continue to spread through the upper valley and northern Vermont as the day progresses. Nevertheless, make sure you have the rain jacket or umbrella with you before going out today.

The afternoon will feature widely scattered showers, mostly cloudy skies and highs between the upper 50s and lower 60s. Southerly winds will also blow at over 20 mph. All the action comes as a result of a dissipation boundary crossing the area. It should start coming out by the end of the day.

As we sail towards the middle of the week, the forecast for tomorrow looks to be the driest with cloudy skies remaining in place as well as milder temperatures in the mid 60s. However, showers will return overnight Wednesday with a other passing low pressure system and its limits. Wednesday’s precipitation could be more regular and abundant at times, if all goes well. Stay tuned for forecasts as they continue to evolve.
