Appeal after woman seen molesting baby in Leyland Street
Police are appealing for help in locating a woman who was seen assaulting her baby on a street in Leyland.

The incident happened in Moss Lane today (Monday April 4) at 11.35am.
A concerned member of the public called the police, but the woman was gone by the time officers arrived. Door-to-door inquiries and CCTV turned up no leads.
The female is described as white and 5ft 6in tall with long brown hair. She wore a burgundy coat with a gray tracksuit underneath.
The baby was about two years old, wearing a white hat and in a dark colored pram with a rain cover.

The witness thinks they may have taken down Chapel Brow.
A South Ribble Police spokesman said: “If anyone has any information about this incident or perhaps the description of the woman has struck a deal with someone please call 101 quoting the log 20220404-0434.”
